Job DescriptionAn established organization in the Cleveland, OH area is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintains strong accuracy in a fast-moving environment, and is comfortable handling a steady volume of transactional work. The role begins on a temporary basis with a strong likelihood of conversion to a permanent position based on performance and long-term business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies directly with vendors
- Process vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist with month-end close procedures
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Comfortable with formulas and formatting in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team
- Comfortable adapting to new technology and updated processes
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
