Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and support overall patient health through collaborative care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, compassionate, and eager to work in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration)
- Prescribe corrective lenses and manage contact lens fittings
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists within Hillside Medical Group
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Provide education and counseling on eye health and preventive care
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Texas Optometry License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
