About the Job:

We are looking to hire a part-time Registered Nurse, RN, to work 3 hour long shifts, 3 mornings per week to oversee medication and the medical aspects of care, as well as train the Behavioral Health Technicians at our facility, in person. Specific work days are according to the needs of the facility, can be somewhat flexible and will most likely be consistent each week. Typical work hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Throttle & Thrive is a 6-bed medical detox, primary substance abuse facility and mental health clinic. All of our services are inpatient.


This is an hourly position paid according to experience and qualifications. Prior experience working at a SUD's inpatient facility is ideal. Must have a full understanding of medication pass, vital signs and CIWAS. This position is also administrative by nature; you will be expected to create documents and implement the protocols with the non-medical staff members.


Job Duties:

Job duties include overseeing medication pass, vitals and CIWAS. Work with our medical director to ensure all doctor's orders are followed correctly. Work with the pharmacy to ensure all medications arrive to the facility. Train the BHT's to follow company protocol. Other duties include: computer work, management work, lab services coordination, compliance, medication management, pharmacy orders, scheduling, meetings, documentation, leading groups, educating the clients, educating and training the staff, daily nursing note for all clients, group facilitation & documentation, doctor follow ups, intakes, discharges, medication inventory, refill management, client transportation, walks, laundry, bed turnover and more.



Compensation:

Starting compensation is contingent on experience, skills and ability (willingness) to perform the duties. This is W-2, hourly position, paid weekly.
