We are a warm, play-based preschool rooted in developmentally appropriate practices and social-emotional growth. Our nurturing team is dedicated to fostering curiosity, independence, and kindness through hands-on learning experiences. We’re seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher who shares our love for early childhood education and understands the importance of child-led exploration.
Key Responsibilities

Co-create and implement a play-based curriculum with your team teacher to support the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development of each child.

Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Observe, assess, and document children's development to support individualized learning.

Collaborate closely with co-teachers and the wider school team to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Communicate regularly with parents through verbal updates, newsletters, and digital platforms.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom and follow all health and safety guidelines.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.

Support children in developing self-regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Assist with classroom setup, daily routines, and transitions.
Qualifications
An ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, flexible, and committed to lifelong learning. The following qualifications are accepted for this position:

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related human services field
OR -
High school diploma/GED plus 30 credit hours in early childhood or related field
OR -
High school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting

Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day

CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
