Water Treatment Service Technician-Plumber
Kinetico Advanced Water Systems is looking to hire Service Technician-Plumbers for our growing Denver, Colorado Division. The primary responsibilities of the Service Technician-Plumber is to install, service, and repair water treatment systems across our Triangle territory. Candidates will have at least one-three years of plumbing experience working on potable water systems, using plumbing assembly tools, must have an understanding of different water sources, and has experience working on plumbing appliances including tank and tankless water heaters. Ideal candidate will be a great troubleshooter and problem solver and have very good customer service skills. Commercial experience is a major plus. Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing or other related fields
- Familiarity with plumbing system design and layout
- Ability to handle physical workload, lifting heavy equipment, bending, kneeling, working in crawl spaces
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be a team player, respect authority, like following rules, and love being thorough in all work
Essential Job Functions
- Install new water treatment systems ranging from water filtration, ion exchange, purification, sanitization, and other specialty systems
- Repair/replace residential and commercial water heaters
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Develop strong, meaningful relationships with consumers (both retail and commercial)
- Act as an educator, teaching people about water and how to best resolve issues with contamination
- Learn and explain the engineering behind Kinetico water treatment systems
- Must be able to stay on task and develop strong daily habits to maximize your ROI
- Absolutely must be able to learn about the chemistry of water, contamination and the science behind water treatment
- Must be extremely goal oriented and enjoy being rewarded for exceeding expectations
