Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education by supporting students from birth to age five. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for school psychologists ready to contribute their expertise over an 11-month period, starting July 6, 2026, and running through June 11, 2027. You’ll be working across multiple locations in the Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County area, offering specialized support in a collaborative school setting.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist (OR PSYCH) license, current and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood or preschool-aged settings, ideally with children birth to 5
- Strong assessment, observational, and counseling skills related to early childhood development
- Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to manage multiple sites and adapt to a variety of early learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal psychological evaluations for children ages birth-5
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to early childhood developmental milestones
- Collaborate with classroom staff, specialists, and families to create supportive learning plans
- Consult and provide recommendations for behavioral, social, emotional, and academic challenges
- Participate in eligibility meetings, write comprehensive reports, and contribute to IEP or IFSP processes as required
- Provide training for staff and parents on relevant supports and resources
