American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit specializing in oncology and orthopedics with day shift hours and a Texas or compact RN license requirement.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work setting is a Med/Surg - Oncology/Ortho unit within a hospital environment
- Responsibilities involve caring for oncology and orthopedic patient populations
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Duties include providing nursing care for patients with oncology and orthopedic diagnoses
- Required documents for consideration include valid identification and nursing credentials
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active TX or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the med/surg specialty
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Oncology nurses must have ONC chemo certification
