Pay Rate: $21.00–$22.00/hour on W2
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 20–25 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible start time
Start Time: Between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM, based on business needs
Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator / Storekeeper will support the Well Service Department by receiving, organizing, storing, preparing, and moving parts and materials. This position requires hands-on warehouse and material-handling experience, including forklift operation, inventory handling, packaging, crating, and maintaining safe and organized storage areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming well-service parts, materials, and supplies and verify quantities and condition against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Develop working knowledge of parts manufactured and purchased for the Well Service Department.
- Inspect, label, store, pick, issue, and dispose of inventory materials as required.
- Prepare, package, group, and assemble parts and materials to fulfill customer orders and material requests.
- Move materials to designated locations and ensure materials are properly stacked, tiered, and secured.
- Operate forklifts/fork trucks efficiently to load, unload, transport, and position materials.
- Understand forklift operating requirements, including speeds, grades, load capacities, and basic equipment mechanics.
- Perform routine material movement within the warehouse and facility.
- Build crates and prepare materials for shipment using appropriate tools and equipment, including power saws when required.
- Ensure outgoing materials are properly packaged, labeled, and accompanied by accurate documentation.
- Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
- Support kitting, Kanban, and point-of-use material replenishment activities.
- Maintain organized warehouse bin locations and optimize storage areas for efficiency and safety.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.
- Check incoming materials for quantity, condition, and accuracy and report discrepancies promptly.
- Complete material fulfillment requests from the division.
- Investigate and assist with resolving local inventory and warehouse issues.
- Inspect assigned vehicles and material-handling equipment for issues and report required repairs or maintenance to the supervisor.
- Properly operate and care for assigned vehicles and equipment; do not neglect or abuse company property.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and QHSE standards.
- Perform other warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, and material-handling duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, material handling, or a related environment preferred.
- Experience handling industrial parts, equipment, or materials is a plus.
- Forklift/fork truck operating experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely move, stack, and organize materials.
- Experience with basic warehouse tools and equipment; ability to learn power saw and crate-building processes.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete inventory and shipping documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn department-specific parts, materials, and processes.
- Ability to work independently after training.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping.
