Position Summary
Texan Glass is seeking an experienced, hands-on Field Supervisor to lead and coordinate our commercial glazing crews across activejob sites. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations,managing installers, ensuring projects stay on schedule, and maintainingquality and safety standards across all commercial storefront, curtain wall,and glass installation projects.
The Field Supervisor will serve as the primary leader inthe field — directing crews, solving problems on-site, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards. This position plays a criticalrole in keeping projects moving and freeing up office leadership to focus onplanning, materials, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership Crew Management
· Oversee and manage multiple commercial glazing crews across job sites
· Provide daily direction, support, and leadership to installers and lead glaziers
· Ensure crews are productive, organized, and working safely
· Train and mentor team members to improve performance and workmanship
· Assist with resolving on-site personnel or workflow challenges
Project Oversight
· Monitor job progress to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
· Coordinate field activities with Project Managers and office staff
· Verify installations meet quality standards and project specifications
· Identify and address issues before they impact timelines or budgets
· Conduct site visits to multiple projects as needed
Communication Coordination
· Act as the main point of contact between field crews and office leadership
· Communicate material needs, scheduling updates, and project concerns
· Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to maintain job flow
· Ensure crews are prepared with the tools, equipment, and materials needed
Safety Quality Control
· Enforce company safety policies and job site compliance
· Ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to plans/specs
· Perform routine site walkthroughs to maintain quality standards
Qualifications
· 5+years of experience in commercial glazing, storefront, or curtain wall installation
· Prior experience leading crews or serving in a foreman/lead role preferred
· Strong understanding of commercial glass systems and installation processes
· Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings
· Strong leadership and decision-making skills
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities simultaneously
