Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (D/HH)
Location: Woodland, California (Near Sacramento)
Hours: Full time; 35 hrs/wk
Caseload: Will be specified during job interview
Start/End Dates: September 15, 2025 - June 05, 2026 (Full School Year)
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff.
- Develop and implement personalized education plans.
- Conduct assessments and identify children with potential hearing loss.
Qualifications:
- Valid California teaching license with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
- EIPA Score of 3.6+
- Successful student teaching experience in the areas of exceptionality
- Basic knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations
Pay:Competitive pay starting at $45 per hour.
