Caseload: Approximately 20 Students per Position
We are currently seeking two Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based positions in Duncan, South Carolina for the 20252026 academic year. These openings include one role at the elementary level and one at the middle school level, both focused on providing resource and co-teaching services in inclusive classroom settings.
Key Responsibilities

Provide specially designed instruction to students with IEPs in resource and co-taught settings

Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver instruction and accommodations

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs
Position Details

Full-time positions: 1 Elementary SPED and 1 Middle School SPED

Primarily focused on resource services and co-teaching

Caseload: Around 20 students per position

Supportive school team and administrative structure
Qualifications

Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education (required)

Experience in resource and inclusion settings preferred

Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
