We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff members in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate restaurant staff to ensure high performance and adherence to service standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the restaurant.
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring offerings meet guest preferences and dietary needs.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food service.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to optimize service levels and operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales, labor costs, and guest feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
