Schedule: Self-scheduling with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period. Patient ratio of 1:3 across all shifts. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• Work in a Magnet-recognized, 641-bed Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Diverse patient population including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring close monitoring
• Advanced unit equipment including Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support teams
• 21-bed unit with direct admissions, ICU transfers, and Rapid Response escalations
• Pre-assignment modules are billable up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• Previous IICU or ICU experience with 1:3 patient acuity required; progressive care settings (PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown) considered based on acuity
• First-time travelers accepted with 3 years of critical care experience within specialty
• Active South Carolina or multistate compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring
• Experience with ventilated patients and titration of cardiac, vasoactive, and insulin drips
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
