Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Shingle Springs, CA, serving the school setting. This role involves providing critical speech and language therapy to pediatric and school-aged students, fostering their communication skills within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech and language goals
  • Track and document student progress with detailed and organized records
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and maintain continuity of care

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
