Location: 20 Waltham St, Lexington, MA 02421
Compensation & Benefits:
- $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
- Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance

We are seeking a Closing Kitchen Lead who can execute dinner service with excellence while upholding a culture built on dignity, patience, and structure.
This is a hands-on, working leadership role focused on running the dinner shift and ensuring the kitchen closes to a high operational standard each night.

The Kitchen Lead plays a critical role in maintaining a structured, supportive atmosphere where all team members can succeed. Leadership in this role requires both operational strength and emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute dinner service during peak hours
- Manage ticket flow and maintain food quality standards
- Support and guide team members throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
- Oversee end-of-night cleaning, restocking, and reset procedures
- Ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for the next day’s service
- Model professionalism, accountability, and respectful leadership
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience (required)
- Strong understanding of kitchen systems and service flow
- Ability to lead calmly and confidently during busy shifts
- Experience with inventory, prep systems, and closing procedures
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Alignment with our nonprofit mission and values
