LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in The Woodlands, TX to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis. This role supports high-volume, full-cycle recruiting within the power generation industry and is ideal for a seasoned recruiter seeking stability, long-term potential, and eventual permanent conversion.
This position is 100% onsite and intended to convert to permanent for the right long-term fit.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $36.00 - $ 43.25/hour
- Based on a 40-hour workweek (2080 hours annually)
- Bonus (Upon Conversion): Annual incentive paid in April based on individual and company performance

Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level roles, supporting both blue-collar and white-collar hiring needs. This individual will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, delivering a relationship-focused recruiting experience with the goal of long-term team integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions (approximately 40 requisitions at a time)
- Create and manage requisitions; define job requirements, screening questions, and interview strategies
- Source, screen, and interview candidates across technical and corporate roles
- Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre-employment screenings (drug testing and background checks)
- Serve as the primary liaison between hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring stages within the ATS
- Support recruiting metrics and departmental goals
- Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and proactive sourcing initiatives
- Collaborate with the TA Manager on hiring strategies and workforce planning
- Build and maintain external talent pipelines
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (Senior / Level 3 preferred)
- Required industry experience:
- POWER GENERATION
- Recruiting experience across blue-collar and white-collar roles, including engineering and field service positions
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruiting in fast-paced environments
- Strong stakeholder partnership and relationship-building skills
- ATS/HRIS experience required
- Paycom experience highly preferred
- Experience with Paycor, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems acceptable
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
