Supply Technician
Location: Fort Rucker, Alabama
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
Summary:
Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains hand receipt files
- Tracks all inventory and requisitions; conducts inspections as needed
- Processes work orders, ensures accountability of inventory records
- Assists personnel with training, management, and maintenance assistance
- Analyzes data to identify trends and deficiencies related to the program
- Maintains existing inventory system to ensure all property are properly maintained according to current regulations, policies, and general maintenance practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years as a Supply Technician
- Knowledge of government supply systems, databases and computer programs of record
- Analytical ability to define or recognize problems, previous troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude
- Ability to work cooperatively with military and civilian workforce
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be a US Citizen
