Production Planning (PP) Coordinator
Position Summary
The Production Planning (PP) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments based on customer demands and operational priorities. This role operates in a fast-paced, multi-client warehouse environment and serves as a key link between Operations and Client Services to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse according to operational priorities and customer service level agreements (SLAs)
- Accurately input and maintain data related to inbound and outbound shipments in SAP
- Ensure all required shipment and inventory information is recorded in system(s) of record
- Identify and report discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damages
- Prepare and complete daily operational and inventory reports
- Provide fast, accurate, and efficient administrative support for warehouse operations
- Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse associates, drivers, and leadership
- Follow all workplace processes and uphold ISO-9001 quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and system navigation (SAP experience preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to management direction
- Customer-focused mindset with responsiveness to internal and external needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Work environment includes both office and warehouse dock settings
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Moderate to loud noise levels typical of a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse setting, requiring both administrative and on-the-floor coordination. The role demands a high level of accuracy, organization, and communication to support daily logistics operations.
