Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Schedule: 5 days/week | 7.5 hours/day

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images

• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment prior to patient studies

• Administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols

• Follow all radiation safety guidelines in compliance with ALARA principles

• Complete and maintain all required documentation, logs, charge records, and equipment reports in accordance with regulatory standards

• Perform quality assurance, quality control, and safety testing

• Manage, retrieve, and maintain patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation

• Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use

• Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries and confirm activity levels prior to administration

• Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience

• Ability to follow prescribed imaging protocols with accuracy and consistency

• Strong clinical judgment and patient-care skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced radiology environment

Education & Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) – Required

• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT – Required

• BLS Certification – Required
