Job Summary
One of the Northshore`s most upscale and desired practice is seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! Constantine Dental of Northbrook is located just steps from the Metra station in the heart of charming downtown Northbrook. This is a well-established private practice where generations of families have been coming for years.
Our ideal candidate would have/be:
- Prior dental experience of at least 1 YEAR (required)
- Team player, fun, positive, energetic personality, goal-oriented;
- Strong emphasis on providing 5 star exceptional customer service to our wonderful lifelong patients;
- Empathetic, compassionate and patient.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable;
- Taking x-rays and impressions;
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms;
- Prep sterilized instruments for the dentist and hygienists for exams and procedures;
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams;
- Record and update electronic patient charts;
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend preferred (but not required).
Position is full time:
Monday, Tuesdays and Thursday: 8:30am - 6 pm
1st Wednesday of the month: 8am - 2pm
Friday: 8:00am - 3 pm3rd Saturday of the month: 8am - 2pm
