Job DescriptionA growing real estate firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Property Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for a rapidly expanding portfolio. The company has recently acquired 12 new properties and has grown rapidly over the last few years. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Director of Finance, with 4 direct reports (including offshore team members).Why Join?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for property portfolio

  • Oversee intercompany and payroll-related entries across managed properties

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies

  • Mentor and manage a team of property accountants

  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices

  • Coordinate audits and due diligence efforts

  • Communicate financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Evaluate and enhance accounting systems (Yardi preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

  • 8–10 years of property accounting or real estate finance experience

  • Proven leadership managing accounting staff (beyond AP/AR)

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and property-related tax laws

  • Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Office, and ERP/accounting systems

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.




Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
