Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and managing the project bridging the gap between the field and the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily construction operations and activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project progress.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess project status and address any issues that arise.
- Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PM in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial, electrical, MEP, or structural steel construction processes would be huge, but really they are just looking for a really solid PM
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
