Edenbrook Sheboygan, a skilled nursing facility, located in Sheboygan, WI, is seeking an experienced and dedicated PM Charge Nurse. The Charge Nurse is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Position: PM Charge Nurse
- Schedule: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
- Shift Differentials: $1.50/hr. diff per hour
- PM Charge Nurse (Sign On Bonus: $10,000)
Rates per Experience (LPN):
- 1-3 years $32.00 to $33.96
- 4-5 years $34.64 to $35.33
- 6-8 years $36.04 to $37.49
- 8-10 years $37.49 to $39.01
Rates per Experience (RN):
- 1-3 years $38.00 to $40.33
- 4-5 years $41.13 to $41.96
- 6-8 years $42.79 to $44.53
- 8-10 years $44.52 to $46.32
Responsibilities:
- This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
- Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
- Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
- Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
- Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
Education and/or Experience
- Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
- Degree from an accredited RN/LPN program.
- Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
- Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
