We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge for a long-term care pharmacy in the St. Cloud, MN area. This is a full-time contract assignment with the possibility of permanent placement for the right candidate. The client is looking for someone to step in immediately and provide strong leadership and operational oversight. Hourly rate is 65.00 plsu we are offering full benefits and weekly pay~

Assignment Details:

• Term: 8 to 13 weeks, with potential to extend or transition permanent

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Rotating weekend coverage (typically one weekend per month)

• Script volume: ~1000 prescriptions/day

• Software: QS1 (transitioning to Frameworks soon)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage staff pharmacists and technicians to ensure timely and accurate production

• Oversee workflow processes, staffing, and operations to maintain compliance and efficiency

• Implement workflow improvements to support accuracy, safety, and regulatory standards

• Supervise controlled substance ordering, inventory, and dispensing in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Maintain and oversee USP 797 compliance, including training, documentation, and program updates

Requirements:

• Active and clear Minnesota Pharmacist License

• Minimum 2 years recent long-term care pharmacy experience

• Minimum 2 years recent pharmacy management or PIC experience

• Strong leadership, organizational, and compliance skills
