Job Title: Clinical Director
Location: Arbor Care Solutions, North Carolina
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Work Hours: Varying hours, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work and on-call responsibilities.
Reports To: Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer
Job Summary:
The Clinical Director at Arbor Care Solutions is responsible for overseeing and guiding the clinical operations of the organization. This leadership role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to clients, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes. The Clinical Director plays a crucial role in developing and implementing clinical policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organizations mission and goals. Exceptional leadership skills are required to inspire and manage a diverse clinical team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Clinical Oversight:
Oversee all clinical services and programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and best practice standards.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical interventions and programs, making adjustments as needed to improve client outcomes.
2.Staff Supervision and Development:
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to clinical staff, including Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists, counselors, and case managers.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate the team.
3.Program Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement evidence-based clinical programs and services that address the needs of clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate clinical services with other organizational programs.
4.Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure all clinical documentation meets organizational, state, and federal standards, including private pay, private insurance and NC Medicaid documentation requirements.
Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and improve service delivery.
5.Collaboration and Communication:
Foster collaboration among clinical staff, medical providers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive client care.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and external partners to support treatment goals and organizational objectives.
6.Crisis Management:
Provide leadership and support during crisis situations, ensuring appropriate interventions and safety measures are in place.
7.Conduct Assessments and Counseling:
Perform assessments and provide counseling services when needed to support client care and treatment plans.
8.Budget Management:
Assist in developing and managing the clinical budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
9.Strategic Planning:
Participate in strategic planning to support the growth and development of clinical services and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical supervisory or leadership role, preferably in substance abuse or mental health settings.
Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders.
Experience in program development and implementation, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
