Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Howell, MI is seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential support throughout the current school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic educational environment, collaborating directly with students and staff to enhance communication skills and contribute to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across various grade levels within the district (specific caseload and number of schools to be determined).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possession of a valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
