Job Description
As a PO3 Assembler, you will play a crucial role in operating tools, equipment, and processes according to instructions and based on your experience. You will contribute to the creation of instructions when none are available, ensuring adherence to standard work and quality policies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, supporting improvement initiatives, and participating actively in enhancing the work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate tools, equipment, and processes based on instructions and experience.
- Assist in creating instructions when none are available.
- Ensure adherence to standard work and quality policies.
- Monitor your own work to maintain quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping, record keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records.
- Support improvement initiatives to enhance safety, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency.
- Generate innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Keep up-to-date with certifications and training requirements.
- Train others on tasks when assigned.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
