Electronic Systems Technician
Responsibilities:
* Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic assemblies, subsystems, and hardware systems.
* Perform unit, system, integration, and regression testing while documenting procedures and results.
* Analyze test data to identify hardware or software issues and support resolution efforts.
* Assemble prototype and experimental circuitry, including breadboard and complete hardware builds.
* Support installation and maintenance of primary and redundant server systems used for internal networks and test environments.
* Execute software distribution, installation, and system configuration builds across test systems.
* Create technical documentation, reports, diagrams, charts, and schematics to document system performance and issues.
* Interface with internal teams, customers, and contract manufacturers to support testing and troubleshooting activities.
* Provide internal training and support for unit and system-level testing.
* Perform failure analysis, recommend corrective actions, and support field troubleshooting.
* Conduct site surveys and assist with system installations at customer locations as required.
Requirements:
* Availability to work Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM-11:30 PM.
* Must have reliable, independent transportation to and from the worksite.
* High school diploma with technical training; associate or bachelor"s degree preferred.
* Approximately 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a hardware, electronics, or technical support role.
* Experience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic instrumentation.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions.
* Experience working with hand tools and small power tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and summarize technical data.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences:
* Experience supporting hardware systems used in regulated or controlled environments.
* Prior customer-facing or field support experience.
* Familiarity with server hardware, networking, or laboratory test environments.
