Sleep Physician
Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent health care system, is inviting applications for academic roles within the Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Allergy Section. We are looking for an exceptional clinician with expertise in Sleep Medicine to engage in clinical and educational activities primarily within our outpatient clinics, as well as to assist in managing a newly established polysomnography sleep lab.
The health care system serves Veterans through a main medical center and several community-based outpatient facilities. Our Sleep Medicine program has recently expanded with the introduction of a new overnight sleep lab, which commenced operations in Fall 2025, creating an exciting opportunity to enhance Sleep care services. Key responsibilities will involve staffing outpatient Sleep Clinics and supporting the operations of the sleep lab. Candidates should demonstrate clinical excellence and a strong inclination towards scholarly activities in both clinical practice and education, in alignment with the goals of our Division and the health care system.

The selected candidate will receive an academic appointment at the university, either in the HS Clinical or Clinical X series, at a rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) that reflects their experience. They will report directly to the Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Allergy. Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent, hold a current medical license, and be board-certified or eligible in Sleep Medicine. Board certification in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care Medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
