Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic educational environment near Torrance, CA, where your occupational therapy expertise will make an impact on K-12 students’ growth and well-being. This full-time, on-site contract role runs from August 11, 2026, to June 4, 2027. Working across multiple schools as assigned, you will deliver crucial OT services, collaborating with educators to support students’ participation and development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Demonstrated experience or fieldwork in school-based OT or educational settings
  • Familiarity with standardized assessments, educational terminology, and the Special Education process
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to enhance student participation in school activities
  • Implement therapy sessions for a caseload ranging from kindergarten through high school
  • Travel between assigned schools (some itinerant work may be required)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate occupational therapy goals into students’ educational programs
  • Maintain diligent documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding occupational performance
