Your day to day as a Utility Billing Supervisor
The Full-Time Utility Billing Supervisor at American Fork City plays a vital role in managing a comprehensive range of administrative tasks related to utility billing, collection, meter reading, and customer service. This position involves receiving work orders for new construction and meter changes, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. You will oversee and assist with the computerized utility billing system, facilitating new utility hookups and fostering strong customer relations.
Additionally, your responsibilities include the preparation of timely and accurate customer utility bills, while also actively responding to pressurized irrigation requests. This multifaceted role requires a detail-oriented individual who is adept at problem-solving and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our community.

- Knowledge of practices and procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and office principles and practices; computer operation; basic mathematics; interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written;
- Working knowledge of principles of supervision.
- Skill in the operation of desktop or laptop computers and various software applications.
- Skill in customer relations and art diplomacy and cooperative problem-solving.
