Location: Salem, OR
Position Type: Travel Contract

Schedule:

• Day Shift (8 hours)
• 36 hours guaranteed per week (up to 40 hours expected)
• Overtime requires prior approval

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an outpatient orthopedic setting. This role involves supporting physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care while helping patients improve mobility and overall function. Both experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to patients
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
• Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Open to new graduates
• Open to first-time travelers
