Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Qualifications Required
- Associate degree or higher
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- One of the following certifications required:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
Key Responsibilities
- Performs blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures within scope of MA certification
- Assists physicians during examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Prepares patients for examinations and assists with mobility
- Cleans and stocks exam rooms with necessary supplies
- Takes and returns patient phone calls as directed by the physician
- Provides patient instructions as directed by the physician
- Maintains medical records, including referrals, lab slips, and documentation
- Requisitions supplies to maintain adequate inventory
- Assists with nursing procedures as directed by the physician
- Works as a member of a team and remains flexible
