Trucking Dispatch Assistant/Customer Service

Job DescriptionSalary: $20/HR+ DOE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- 4 year HS degree or equivalent

- 1 year Business Google Workspace Experience (Business Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive)

- 1 year experience in trucking/dispatch field

- Typing on standard QWERTY keyboard of at least 40wpm

BONUS REQUIREMENTS:

- 1 year experience with Portpro

- 1 year experience and knowledge with Long Beach terminals

DESCRIPTION:

You are expected to perform the following duties:

- Answer all emails from customers regarding appointment status, delivery dates, empty return dates, delivery appointments, etc.

- Perform all order entries into Port Pro

- Answer all phone calls from customers

- Update any PODs or waiting time to customers with proof documents in a timely manner

- Coordinate with main dispatch to assist any aspect of customer service

Must be a quick thinker and problem solver. Must be able to handle pressure under a fast paced environment.
