Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a small, acute outpatient emergency department location in Union Gap, WA, with the ability to also perform X-ray.
Details
- Radiology department within a small, acute outpatient emergency care setting with 10 beds
- Emergency department patient population
- 1:1 patient ratio
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call shifts may be required
- Holiday coverage expected
- No floating required
- Epic EMR; PACS system also in use
Requirements
- BLS required
- ARDMS certification required; RVT may be required
- Ability to perform X-ray in addition to ultrasound is required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum experience is variable; experienced travelers preferred
- At least one supervisor-level reference (charge nurse, manager, or director) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
Additional Information
- This is a new facility offering 24/7 coverage
- Technologist will work mostly independently but with support available from staff at other locations
- Orientation consists of a new employee orientation (NEO) plus 2–5 days of unit-specific orientation
- First-time travelers will be considered, though experienced candidates are preferred
- RTO requests are handled directly through the facility manager
- Scrub color is variable
