Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate will work with residents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve their highest possible level of function and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with communication or swallowing difficulties
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support overall patient recovery goals
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies

Qualifications

  • Active California SLP License (required)
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Minimum experience: New graduates and experienced therapists welcome to apply
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence
