Position Summary
Under general supervision, is responsible for a variety of office/clerical tasks relating to claims
processing; contacts patients, doctors and sales force to obtain necessary documentation and
approvals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Full time salary position- Typically Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm may require flexibility
• Arranges for O2 and product shipments and/or pickups
• Investigates and corrects errors, follows-up on missing account information,
• May contact physicians, and others necessary to obtain information for resolution of insurance
issues
• Submit and follow up on pre-certifications and reauthorizations
• Obtain and actual start dates; proof of deliveries.
• Posts data; verifies and performs mathematical computations; maintains files.
• Composes and types routine correspondence, memos, letters, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; supplemented with customer service experience.
Physical Requirements
Vision sufficient to read documents, computer screens, computer printouts, policies and operating
procedures; hearing sufficient to hear conversations in person and over the telephone; speech sufficient
to make oneself heard in person and over the telephone; mobility sufficient to move around in an office
setting; dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment including personal computers, scanners, copiers,
etc; strength sufficient to lift and carry routine office supplies, office equipment, computer printouts and
boxes weighing up to 25 pounds; and endurance sufficient to maintain sufficiency throughout entire
shift.
