Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Paraprofessional to support a 2nd grade studentfor the 20252026 school year. The student is highly independent and is succeeding in both academics and behavior. The role involves consistent daily support and collaboration with school staff.
Job Responsibilities:

Greet and meet the student upon arrival each morning
-
Provide academic and behavioral support throughout the school day, including during specials, lunch, and recess
-
Take data as needed and communicate with the student's homeroom teacher and special education case manager
-
Support the classroom when the student does not require direct assistance
-
Accompany and supervise the student in the dismissal line at the end of the day

Attend daily planning discussions with the homeroom teacher

Adhere to staff HR and school policies

Refrain from using personal technology during downtime when the student is independent
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
-
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teaching staff

Strong communication, organizational, and observational skills
