We are seeking dedicated Packaging Line Workers for the 1st Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitters, assembling products, labeling, conducting quality control checks, and packaging. Additionally, some minor set-up and equipment operation may be required.
Responsibilities
- Operate slitter machines efficiently.
- Perform assembly tasks with precision.
- Label products accurately and ensure quality control.
- Package products according to company standards.
- Conduct minor set-up and operate equipment as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in machine operation, packaging, and assembly.
- At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity and good coordination.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong material handling skills.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean and collaborative setting, typically in teams of 2-4 individuals. The dress code includes jeans or any work pant material, excluding leggings or sweatpants. Safety is a priority, requiring all personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves. Contractors must provide their own steel toe boots. The 1st shift operates Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime based on workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
