Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and fast-learningWarehouse Assistant II to support operations at our Lodi, CA office. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and delivery of warehouse goods.
The Warehouse Assistant II will help ensure productivity targets are met, maintain warehouse organization and equipment, and support a safe and secure work environment. This role also assists with facility upkeep and ensures equipment remains in proper working condition. This position has dotted line reporting into the Inventory Control Lead.
Position Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, order fulfillment, and delivery of goods across day and night shifts
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space, tools, and equipment while meeting quality and productivity targets
- Maintain accurate inventory control, including cycle counts
- Support a productive team environment to meet or exceed operational goals
- Assist with delivery and pickup of rental, traffic control, towable equipment, and signage as needed
- Distribute PPE and coordinate restocking of supplies
- Maintain towable and warehouse equipment in safe, working condition
- Assist with minor facility repairs and general warehouse maintenance
- Participate in periodic safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support sign shop technicians with sign customization (MUTCD) as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Valid CA Drivers License with a clean driving record, minimum 3 years driving experience
- Experience driving medium-duty trucks and towing equipment required
- Forklift certification preferred (minimum 1 year experience)
- Basic electrical and HVAC knowledge preferred
- Proficient with computers and systems i.e., Microsoft Office, Inventory Control systems
- Strong communication, math, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with Northern California geography
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in both warehouse and outdoor job site environments
