Job DescriptionJob Title: Mechanical Assembler (Electronics Industry)
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components for electronic devices (e.g., circuit enclosures, power supplies, or mechanical modules) using hand tools, power tools, and assembly machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand assembly requirements and specifications
- Install and secure internal components such as circuit boards, wires, connectors, and cables into the mechanical framework of devices
- Perform quality checks and inspections on completed assemblies to ensure all components are properly aligned and function correctly
- Conduct functional tests to verify assembly integrity and operational performance of mechanical systems in the devices
- Troubleshoot and adjust mechanical assemblies to meet quality standards or resolve issues identified during testing
- Follow safety protocols (including ESD and personal protective equipment) and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Record assembly data, defects, adjustments, and test results in production logs or digital systems
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and resolve any challenges that arise during the assembly process
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics manufacturing (e.g., assembly of electronic enclosures, systems, or devices)
- ISO certification or experience with quality control standards in an electronics environment
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety and best practices for handling sensitive electronic components
Payrate: DOE $20.00-$25.00 Shift: 2ndLocation: San Fernando Valley
