As our team continues to grow, we’re seeking a motivated CAD Drafter to support our drafting and design operations.
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience. You’ll assist in preparing architectural drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed drawings and plans based on specifications and sketches
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements
- Collaborate with project managers and senior designers to ensure accuracy
- Assist with preparing permit sets, construction documents, and presentation materials
- Maintain organized file management for all project documentation
Qualifications: - Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant drafting experience (internships count)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, SketchUp - Chief Architect software is a plus)
- Basic understanding of construction documents and building terminology
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in the field and take accurate measurements when required
