Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult care experience for a night shift position covering ER, ICU, floors, and code response services.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting covering all adult services including ER, ICU, floors, RRT, and Code Blue response
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- One weekend required per month
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an adult RRT
- Active CA RRT license required if applicable
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Prior travel experience preferred
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures across adult inpatient and emergency settings
- Responsible for patient assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities
- Collaborates with physicians and the broader care team to implement and adjust patient care plans
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
