Position Overview
Shamong Manufacturing, a precision metal fabricator, is seeking a dedicated Shipping, Receiving & Delivery Specialist. This full-time position combines shipping, delivery, and warehousing responsibilities to support our manufacturing operations and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Pickup Operations (Secondary - 60% of time):
• Safely operate a 16’ box truck and Sprinter van for local deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload vehicles independently, ensuring product safety
• Maintain professional customer relationships during delivery interactions
• Oversee truck maintenance and upkeep
Shipping & Receiving Operations (Primary - 40% of time):
• Receive and process incoming packages
• Package and prepare finished parts for shipment using appropriate materials and methods
• Process shipping documentation and coordinate with freight carriers
• Assist with finished part inventory, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Organize and maintain warehouse areas for optimal efficiency
Essential Qualifications:
• Clean driving record with a valid driver's license
• Experience with computers, software, inventory management systems, and online shipping portals (UPS, FedEx, etc)
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly and handle the physical demands of loading/unloading
• Experience with shipping/receiving operations, warehouse management, or logistics
• Comfortable operating larger vehicles (16’ box truck - no CDL required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work in an ITAR-regulated facility (Must be U.S. persons i.e. U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) )
• Submit to a background check
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Work Environment
This position operates in both warehouse and manufacturing environments. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Work hours from 7AM to 3:30 PM
