We are currently accepting applications for dependable and mission-minded Substitute Teachers to serve in our Early Childhood Education (0-4), Formation (K-5th), Presence (6th-8th), and Kingdom (9th-12th) Academies.

Position: Substitute Teacher
Status: As-needed, part-time
Reports to: Division Lead and Academic Dean
Pay Rate: $105/day (non-certified), $200/day (certified)
Position Overview
Substitute teachers at KHPS help maintain continuity of instruction when our regular classroom teachers are absent. You will step into a supportive, Christ-centered environment where your presence ensures our students remain engaged, learning, and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Follow prepared lesson plans to maintain the learning environment and routines
- Uphold classroom management standards consistent with school values and expectations
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly classroom
- Support the spiritual mission of Kingdom Heights by modeling Christ-like character
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Classroom or child supervision experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to the mission and values of classical Christian education
- Ability to manage a classroom with poise, professionalism, and grace
- Flexible, reliable, and able to follow directions and adapt quickly
