Location:
- Olney, IL area (with assignment opportunities in nearby communities)
Schedule:
- Various shifts primarily Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (9 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
- Provide clear, professional counseling and information about medications to patients and caregivers
- Maintain a commitment to superior customer service and patient safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy and support
Qualifications:
- Current active Illinois Pharmacist License required
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Detail-oriented approach to dispensing and documenting medications
