Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fresno, CA, providing a rewarding opportunity to support students within a dynamic school setting. This onsite contract role is ideal for SLPs with California school experience who are dedicated to managing diverse caseloads and making a meaningful impact in student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, including those with speech-only needs.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, with potential support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Supervise SLPAs and facilitators when applicable.
- Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of California school experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Experience supervising SLPAs and facilitators is highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively manage high caseloads and student referrals.
- Credentials: Accepting Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs).
- Candidates must be available to work onsite.
Position Details:
- Location: Fresno, CA within a school environment.
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
- Caseload primarily based at an elementary school with speech-only students included.
- Contract length: Full school year.
