- Location: Midland, TX 79701 (West Texas healthcare jobs)\n
- Facility: Universal Care Unit (Med/Surg Tele, PCU-level patients)\n
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 27, 2025 – January 26, 2026)\n
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), block scheduling likely\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1820–$1870\n
- Holiday Coverage: 1 major and 1 minor holiday required\n
- Orientation: 16 hours\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (pending accepted, must be active before start)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required\n
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred\n
- Experience with Cerner charting preferred\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
- Must pass on-site drug screening\n
\n\nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n

- Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in a Universal Care Unit\n
- Assist with overflow patient care and float to other hospital units as needed\n
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias using telemetry and remote monitoring systems\n
- Respond to rapid response and code situations as part of the clinical team\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR (preferred)\n
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations\n
