Job Title: Contract General Production Lead
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a General Production lead, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your primary focus will be on operational and system support, process controls, and production activities, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily system startup activities to ensure all equipment is production-ready, especially on Mondays following weekend downtime.
- Provide on-site operational support to maintain consistent workflow and minimize downtime.
- Manage front office presence, including receiving, shipping coordination, and visitor support.
- Execute weekly process control activities across all systems and document results.
- Complete all Monday process control routines to validate systems for the production week.
- Support production activities involving 10–100 parts per week.
- Execute defined batch job support, including setup and part changeovers.
- Provide active support during production runs to minimize interruptions.
- Assist with team lifts and part positioning for heavy equipment.
- Support shipment documentation, including printing packing slips and filing paperwork.
- Maintain organized, clean, and production-ready workspaces aligned to 5S expectations.
- Follow established procedures and escalate issues promptly.
- Communicate proactively with on-site team members for alignment and continuity.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and consistency in supporting daily operations.
- Adhere to all radiation safety, equipment handling, and PPE requirements.
- Participate in equipment interaction and team lifts as trained and directed.
- Immediately escalate any unsafe conditions or concerns.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production, general labor, packaging, machine setup, and shipping & receiving.
- Experience working with a small team to maintain the inspection line.
- Hands-on experience on a production floor with early morning support capabilities.
- Comfortable following detailed procedures and being trained on the company's process.
- Experience with forklift operations, inspection, machine operating, and NDT inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience in NDT testing is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment
Located in Aliso Viejo, the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 3 PM. Join a well-organized production environment focused on safety and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
