Our organization has a rich history of pioneering advancements in women's reproductive health care. We are proud to have developed the Apgar score for evaluating newborn health, to be the first in the nation to conduct an amniocentesis, and to have introduced RhoGAM, which has significantly reduced Rh-incompatibility reactions that previously led to numerous fetal and neonatal fatalities and health issues annually.
Situated within a vibrant medical community, our team consists of over 100 physicians and more than 40 post-graduate residents and fellows. Together with researchers and clinicians, we are dedicated to addressing the health care needs of women. Our mission is to deliver exceptional patient care, cultivate future leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology, support groundbreaking research, and integrate these innovations into clinical practice.
Job Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a faculty member in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join the Allen Hospital Division. We invite applications from full-time board-certified or board-eligible candidates to engage in the clinical and academic activities of our dynamic department. Multiple openings are available.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care.
- Engage in general obstetrics and gynecology practice.
- Perform gynecologic surgeries.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical care, research, and the education of residents and medical students.
- Deliver quality care at community health centers affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital in the Washington Heights and Inwood areas.

Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- New York Medical License.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified.

- Commitment to evidence-based practices and quality improvement.
- Strong communication skills, excellent bedside manner, and organizational abilities.
- Passion for medical education, including teaching residents, medical students, and nursing students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines (RN, CNM, NP) and specialties.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
